 NYSCA members, who desire to increase their coaching knowledge, can obtain a higher level of education by completing the Gold Level Certified Coach Online Course. The course is aimed at helping volunteers learn more advanced techniques in areas such as teaching skills, communication and preventing injuries, among others.
The Gold Level Certified Coach Course delivers an e-learning experience in eight key topic areas:

- Sports Safety and Injury Prevention
- Physical Preparation and Conditioning
- Growth & Development
- Teaching & Communication
- Organization & Administration
- Skills & Tactics
- Evaluation
The Gold Level Certified Coach Course is only available to NYSCA Members. If you are interested in becoming an NYSCA member, please contact NYSCA at nysca@nays.org or call (800) 729-2057. If you are already a member, click here. The cost of the Gold Level course is a one time $60 fee. Please note the $60 fee does not include the annual $20 membership fee for NYSCA Continuing Membership.
