Youth sports teams can now say thank you to their volunteer coaches at the end of the season while also making a real difference in the lives of children battling cancer. Thanks to a unique program designed by Curing Kids Cancer, teams can make a donation to fund cutting edge pediatric cancer research in their coach’s name – and in return receive a special memento to present to their coach.
The Coaches Curing Kids Cancer program provides a unique option for teams and leagues who wish to show their appreciation to their volunteer coaches. Through the program, teams who make a donation to the Curing Kids Cancer organization will receive a t-shirt, hat or whistle to present to their coach, along with a personalized certificate.
The National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) encourages its Chapters to join the Curing Kids Cancer movement by sharing with the teams in its programs how to participate in this unique initiative.
To participate, visit the Coaches Curing Kids Cancer Web site or click here. When filling out the appropriate information, make sure to select “NAYS/NYSCA” under the "Where did you hear about us?" drop down menu.
