Start a NAYS Chapter for your organization to ensure coaches, administrators, parents, and officials are knowledgeable and confident about their important role in community youth sports and also that your program is utilizing the most comprehensive system for youth sports management.

What is a chapter?
Organizations partnering with NAYS to offer any or all of our education and membership programs are considered chapters.

Who qualifies to start a chapter?
All out-of-school youth sports organizations are eligible to become NAYS Chapters. Over 3,000 community-based organizations are active NAYS Chapters, including parks & recreation departments, independent youth sports leagues, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA/YWCA, Police Athletic Leagues, religious-affiliated programs, military-affiliated programs, and other service groups throughout the country.

What is the cost?
Our programs are designed for organizations to set up quickly and efficiently, with no fees for establishing a NAYS Chapter or for the clinic videos and materials. The only fees remitted to the National Alliance for Youth Sports are the membership fees for each clinic participant. NYSCA and NYSOA live clinic fees are $20 per participant. PAYS fees are $5 per participant. Keep in mind these fees include not only the initial training program for the participants but also all of the on-going education and benefits they receive from association membership.

Prior to conducting the first live clinic, the chapter must make a prepayment for the participants' membership fees. Prepayment is only necessary for the first live clinic held by a chapter. After that, the chapter may order clinic materials as needed and remit membership fees with their clinic roster after the clinic takes place. Some chapters choose to pay a portion or all of their coaches' membership fees, while others require coaches to cover their own fee. That choice is up to the chapter.

Note: Chapters may immediately offer NYSCA, NYSAA and PAYS Online Clinics for coaches, administrators and parents without prepayment. Online Clinic fees are $20 per coach, $45 per administrator and $5 per parent/family. The NYSOA (officials) program is not available as an Online Clinic.

Volume Discounts for NYSCA Coaches: Have over 50 coaches? By prepaying for the coaches' membership fees, the Chapter may qualify for volume discounts. The prepaid memberships can be used towards Live or Online NYSCA Clinics. All prepaid credit will remain on file with the Chapter for 15 months.
