Former tennis coach faces sex charges

A tennis pro and former coach has been charged with sexually assaulting two young girls in southwest Florida.

The 49-year-old faces two counts of molestation and one count of sexual battery of a child under 12 years old, according to court records. A judge set bond at $1 million.

The records indicate the alleged victims are Michigan girls who claimed the coach touched them inappropriately while they were staying with him in Florida last year.

The man moved to the Naples, Fla., area in 2011 and was working as a tennis instructor at a country club there when he was arrested.
